Barneys SWEET TOOTH grow w/ pix
For starters thanks to Dr. Chronic, once again, I am ready. I recieved seeds yesterday (Barney's Breakfast Bars' Sweet Tooth) and even though I have not constructed my grow tent, I have went ahead and placed my seeds in paper towells yesterday.
I will use a HydroHut mini, 400 watt mh, 430 watt hortilux hps, Fox Farms Ocean Forest, and Fox Farms Tiger bloom, along with Fox Farm Grow Big foliar feedings. I'll post pics tonight.

What will increase my yeilds?
I want to do top-feed hydro next, but in the mean time I have used organic and LST. I haven't bought two seperate lights (too broke). I have one of those MH/HPS ballasts that switch. So without clones "What will increase my yeild in a soil setup w/ 400 hps in a hydrohut mini?"

pics up!!
They spent 2 days germinating in paper towels, and from monday until now (friday) they were under my 400 watt MH. It gets too hot indoors about 90-100 degrees and started to stretch, so i put them outside. I will bring them in each evening @ 6 pm to be placed under light until 12. And I will put them outside at 6 am.

Are they stretched from the heat?
I went and bought the conversion, (glass, exhaust fan, ducting) and now im at a constant 85-89 F. Did my girls stretch? Right after these pics, I put more soil around the stems.
This is my third grow and any professional mannered tips or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

bro just curious, how is your ventilation in your hydrohut? I got 2 500cfm exhaust fans, and 1 circulation fan and im having 86 degrees constantly in their.

Actually my MH was burning @ 95-100F until I hooked up the 180 CFM squirrel cage blower. Oh, and I have an exhaust fan. Im @ low seventies @ night and mid 80's during the day. BUT IN 1 WEEK A/C IS BEING INSTALLED. THEN IM STOKED!!!

I was ripped-off by the only Hydro place around, hold your hats... $230!! I heard the MINIs are like $180ish now. I WILL BUY THE XL after harvest!! Then use my mini for Mother and clones. I will take pics in thirty minutes, then post.

Thats my 36" Lung Dominator..
The plants are 13 days old all together, 10 days into the seedling stage. I'm pretty proud of my babies. 5 are the same size as the only pic that I could post. and two are little. Oh and I took four BREAD BASKETS from behind the local grocery store. I use two as a work bench and I'll use another as a trellis. Pretty much I'll cut a hole up the center to squeeze 1-2 plants in and tie them down everywhere! THATS HOW I LST. How do they look? Damnit man, back to scraping my bong stem! Im out.

Attack Of The Fungus Gnats!!!
Thats right the son of a bitches crept up on me. I bought Organocide from a hydro shop, What should I do to get rid of these monsters?
My plants are VERY SWEET and exotic smelling by the way and I have been LST inside the pots rim but I dont like this method too much because the branches are too close, I NEED HELP!!! I'll post my pics asap.

I wanted to skip the boring bs
MH VEG pics are @ three weeks old, lights were tripped to 12/12 on the 26th day from seed IMG_0144.JPG IMG_0149.JPG IMG_0157.JPG IMG_0166.JPG I later found out I had a bunch of males and destroyed all but two. One was topped and the other is LST. Nice man, nice.
My plants are probably 1-2 weeks further along in vegetative state. You said you've already got yours flowering? How much do you think they will yield? I'm contemplating switching my plants over to flowering right now, but im not sure about how much im going to end up with ... and plus, I just started two 'Easy Sativa' plants that I may grow through completely on 12/12 .. hmmm |
