Will this increase my yield?

I was reading about outdoor growing and the guerilla tactics used that keep the plants close to the ground and also increase yield. If I were to do this to my indoor plants, would it also increase yield? Here's the stats if they help at all. They are white ladies from seeds directs. No added CO2, about 2600-3000 lumens of light (I know I need a 400watt hps), plenty of water and fertalizer, constant 80 degrees... these are the best growing conditions I could provide for my plants with my budget. They are about 9 inches tall right now and I plan to send them into flowering when they are 12-15 inches. Thanks.

Im not sure if the guerilla tactics will work the same indoors due to the weather factors and natural sunlight, should let someone else answer that part. Personally I feel it might be a waste of grow space inside... But your TEMP.... You said you keep it at constant 80*f. you should actually allow a drop in temperature at night the plants need this cool down period like naturally 8-10-12 degrees is usually what I drop mine down by or around... so say your Growing at 80* drop it to around 72* or so at night...

yeah lower ur temp a bit, at least at night. also i think the best way to get the best yeald from low light has got to b by training ur plant to make the best use of wot it has. ur light sounds good for about 1sq foot. try and keep ur light in that kind of area and think about a scrog or somthing.

i wudnt let ur plant get to 15" i take it ur using fluros? no matter how big ur plant gets ur only really gonna get bud at the top few inch. save time on veg and flower at 8 t 10 inch max.
or if ur using tubes then top ur plant once to get 2 tops and train them to grow along the lengh of the tube about 2" away from it (leaving room to raise the tube later) and go into 12/12 when the plant is 1third the lengh of the tube.

just an idea of wot id try, iv never had to grow with such low light but that is wot i wud do and keep my fingers crossed.

My grow area is about 2 1/2 sq feet. I have one 22 watt flourescent, two 60 watt grow light bulbs, and one 75 watt grow bulb. The 75 watt light is the about 2 feet above the plants, the two 60 watt lights are about 1 foot above the plants one on each side, and the flourescent is a few inches from the tops. I lined the walls with a space blanket to better reflect light so the plants are getting light from as many angle as possible. Right now my plants have their second set of true leaves and are starting on their third... I wish I had a cam to send a pic, but if you're saying to flower them at 8 or 10 inches then they should be ready to flower in about a week which seems strange to me cause they really aren't that bushy yet. Do they get most of their leaves when they flower or something?
