Ridiculously Tiny Buds, PLEASE HELP!
Ridiculously Tiny BUDS, plz help!
<HR style="COLOR: #ecfcb2" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I'm 8 weeks into flowering now and my top bud is about as big as I would expect it to be (approx. 4 inches). But all my other branches have really tiny buds (1-2 inches or less) and they have all white hairs. And I have the same lights on the sides as well as the top. Could the problem be because I dont have an adequate CO2 concetration in my flowering room, or is it certainly a lighting issue? I also have a bad hair-to-bud ratio. Do you guys think that is because of lighting, inadequate CO2, or the fact that it's a bagseed plant? Or maybe I should just wait longer, cuz I've heard of the six-week explosion, but I'm at week 8 and there's no exploding goin on. I've been waiting 15-16 weeks to harvest at least 3/4 ounce of this plant (it's 30 inches tall!!) but now I'll be surprised if I get a 1/4 ounce of dry bud. I think I might just harvest whenever I see enough red hairs, but that's another problem, the hairs are taking forever to turn red!! Plz help! I'm dying of anticipation here. I just need experienced advice. |

hmm, but I wouldn't think that the plant would naturally produce such insanely small buds, a couple are barely the size of seeds... I mean they look decent because of all the hairs, but the actual buds are tiny!

 The very top bud:  One of the tiny side buds:  Now, remember, this is after 8 full weeks of flowering. Do you see how white those hairs are still and they've been this same way for a while! I dont want to end up harvesting just 4 grams or something off a 30-inch tall plant. That would be a waste of a huge investment. I've put so much into this already  PLZ HELP

SmknVtec just told me that I had my weeks counting wrong, that flowering doesnt start till the first bud shows up, so I actually accidentally vegged for 8 weeks and I'm only 6 weeks into flowering... that, plus i'm only using like 69W of light on the plant

There is, had to move it for the picture, but it is just a CFL...
I'm gonna get an HPS light as soon as I get the money for that. |
