EBB & FLOW watering schedual

what up.....i'm making a hybrid system...an Ebb and flow system in combination with a nutramist fogger. but i might not get that right away. what is the ideal watering schedual for and ebb and flow setup? flood for how long? leave drained for how long? as far as the medium used...it will be plants started from feminized seeds in 1" rockwool starter cubes, surrounded by clay pebbles in 3" net cups inserted into the cover of the flood table. once the roots grow out of the cups they will just be hanging in the air and solution...i know its a little different than a traditional ebb&flow setup, but necessary for using the fogger. so once the flood table is drained, the roots will probably dry out really fast.
