leaf spray nute vs root nutes?? lil help please

Well i have 4 plants that are all topped right now. there all a little over a foot or so and the leafs are starting to fold up and i think its time to start using some for of nute. correct me on that if im wrong. But heres my deal im running a 250 watt hps about 2 ft off the plants and there starting to lose there nice deep green color to light a whitish pail green. What would be causing that and what nute should i use. Thanks always guys. hola back i need to get everytime back to normal on my grow. THANKS

mate i would have the globe 12 inches away from plant ...... deficencies are usually a ph problem ... under feeding ... root damage .... root temp problem or stale air ..... feed your roots man rather than foliar .... and depending on the media your using to what nutes you should use .... ionic salts are the best but should not be overly used in soils ..... hopefully your using an inert soiless media .... pics are always good man

depends on how big the plants are going to be .... but a 20 litre / 5 gallon pot should suffice
