Quick ways to dry

I have been hearing ways to quickly dry out fresh buds such as; the microwave and a few paper towels and I also heard using a hair dryer works as well. Does anybody have any info on this? Or know of any other ways rather than hanigng upside down and letting dry in a paper bag.

if you use those methods i do believe the smoke is much more harsh.

Heat destroys thc, but if you absolutely have to ruin your bud, then use a dehydrator. Otherwise, if you want that smoke that taste, smells and smokes best then hang it for 7-10 days and put in mason jars.

there is this shit called quality cure, i'm going to try it when i harvest. it supposed to do something to the plant so instead of sucking liquid up through the roots, it will spit it out, and it is supposed to speed up drying time a little bit. check it out.. http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/Itemdesc....EGQC05&eq=&Tp=

If you must, you can put the buds in the oven at 200F for about 20 min or you could put it in the microwave on a plate for about 2 min. Either of these ways should be avoided as they kill THC and taste/high.

I'm pretty sure microwaving doesn't kill thc. If that was the case, you wouldn't be able to make firecrackers in it.

thc starts to break down at 29c ......dont ruin your bud with these quick drying methods .

Iv used a food dehidrator for years dont dry them all the way with it but you can cut the time down buy over 1/2 . It has a temp control and i set at about 170

dry ice works great and fast, and doesnt break down thc, b/c its cold. water curing is good too. need details just ask.
Freeze Drying
Dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide. CO2 changes from its frozen solid to a gas without turning into a liquid, a dry (ice) process that is called sublimation. The atmosphere contains little C02. Dry ice sublimes (converts) completely into a gas leaving virtually no liquid. It is dry.
When moist marijuana is enclosed with dry ice at virtually zero relative humidity, water molecules migrate from the cannabis to the dry ice. The relative humidity of the C02 increases and the moisture content of the marijuana decreases. This process occurs below 0 degrees C (32 degrees F), preserving the cannabis.
Place equal amounts of dry ice and bud into a container. Dry ice on the bottom and bud on top, something in between to keep bud from touching dry ice(you dont want to freeze burn the bud). Seal with a lid. Make a few small holes in the lid of the container for excess gas to exit. Place in the freezer. Check the dry ice every 24 hours. When the ice is gone, the buds will be completely dry. If not dry, add more dry ice until cannabis is dry. Conserve dry ice by partially drying buds for a few days before enclosing with dry ice.
This method retains potency, freshness and causes very little degradation of resin glands by the bad guys heat, light, air and fondling hands. The marijuana tastes ‘minty’ because the chlorophyll does not break down.

wrap a little in paper towel, then put it on your dashboard with the defroster on. when you get to where your going you'll be able to roll it up.

its worth the wait to hang them.
