i live in the frozen part of the u. states. my question is, is there less co2 in the air during winter months. is there enough in the air to flower plants without co2 supp's?

. No i don't know about that. But breathing will help. And since your growing it indoors (unless your strain can grow in the frozen ice) i think there is enough co2 in the air inside. How many people live in your house? Also some appliances and stuff give off co2. So I don't think you should worry.

Wait for a better answer.

Cold air is actually denser than warm air and would have slightly more CO2 concentration than warm air. However, I'm assuming you live indoors where the air is relatively warm so it may not make much of a difference.

i shoulda given more details, my bad. i pull outside air into a seperate bedroom (depending on how cold it is outside) and then into the grow room. Thought maybe i was wasting my time if the outside air was low in co2.

According to Al Gore, yes winter air has more CO2 because fewer plants are alive to consume it than summer. It explains the zig zaging of his chart.

imho supplimental Co2 is never needed... nobody give outdoor plants Co2 and they seem to do just fine out there all by themselves.. and there is pretty much the same levels of Co2 indoors as opposed to outdoors, in fact i expect there will be slightly higher Co2 levels indoors thanks to certain houshold appliences and the occupants exhaled breath
