Tips on how to avoid hermaphrodite plants? Anyone?

Don't mess with the light schedule and hopefully the electricity doesn't go out.

Yep, I did not have the CFL's on the sprouts 24/7. Maybe that's it. However, lucky for me (need a bigger horseshoe above the door), I think I have 8 females left out of 11. I even got pro-active and transplanted two out of one smaller pot into my main 40 gal. Probably not the best thing to have just one huge pot, I know, I know, I know...I will insert a separator into the big pot next time so I end up with 5 different zones, one for each plant. The way I had it for this grow, the roots got bound up. The transplanting seems to have succeeded since it has been about ten hrs. and they are reaching for the light. Now I wonder if it's too risky to put them on 24 hrs again? Will it work or will I get more hermaphrodites that way? Maybe it was just the seeds.

Just put them back on the same light schedule you were on before the transplant and they should be fine.
