Harvested buds are too dry?

I am relatively new to the grow scene and have only harvested a handful of crops. What I would like to know is when i dry my buds, how do i get them to retain some of that dank moisture and weight? I dry my buds in a dark and well vented box and within a week they are bone dry. I am sure i will eventually appreciate dry and easily bustable buds but for now I want them to retain the dank and weight u get from the streets. I grow in a soilessmix and use top of the line nutes. Everything is going descent and the buds stay sticky, tight and delicious. All types i have grown have ended up this way (bone dry), so i am sure it's not the Strains. Any help some of u dudes with experience could offer would be greatly appreciated. thanks

are you curing in jars after you dry? unless they get bone, bone dry, after a day in a mason jar the buds should moisten back up.

Just add a slice of orange, lemon or any of your favorite citrus to your mason jar if the buds are bone dry and that will add moisture along with an additional favorable smell...
