Hydro Nutes For Soil??

Hey all...

Long time outdoor grower, first time indoor grower here. I have a delicious looking Sour OG Kush baby growing, currently in week 3 of flowering. I have the plants LST'd down across an approx 16" pot and I have approx 10 nice big buds growing straight up! I have a super small space to grow, so one nice plant is enough. Growing under 3 -42W cool white CFL's. I am a medical patient and the plant is a clone obtained from a clinic.

I obtained some nutes from Advanced Nutrients, namely the BIG BUD and OVERDRIVE formulas. I purchased them knowing they were for hydro systems, but figuring they would also work for soil. I have been using these for the past week and there has been dramatic growth in the buds. I have been using it as instructed for hydro systems, giving my plant .5L of water about every other day with .3 grams of big bud powder in it. I'm wondering if since it's soil, I need more nutes per L to get the same effects? The OVERDRIVE, which is for the last 2-3 weeks of flowering is liquid, so again... unsure of that.

If anyone has any input, it would be very appreciated. Thanks al!

I use advanced nutrients in a soil medium as well. I have terriffic results with the same amounts recommended for hydro setup. One crop i used a little extra by accident because i used a new reservoir that was slightly smaller than i thought it was and i burned all my plants.

hydro nutes are fine for soil. just remember to start out 1/4 strength when introducing new or different nutes to a plant.
