sick_greg's easy access DWC tub system

Accessing and changing nutes with a big fat plant attached to the lid of your DWC can obviously be a royal pain in the ass. So i came up with this...

Really quite simple and very cheap. Hardware stores and hot glue is all you really need.

that so simple and easy i hope you dont mind but i think i be stealing you ide lol coz i ofthen have problems with the ligth burning some of me top bud i think i will give it a try i go nothing to loose thanx for the ideas mate wath is the shiled made from plastic of glass just woundring

but i don't quite get how the system or you know where the water line is (without popping the lid off), and how you check the ppm. i'm going into a very simalar set up dwc, scrog with a 400 or 600er im not sure yet...id been wondering about the lid with scrog and how it might be a pain..this should be a great help for me. thanks!
