Ummm, that's $4 for the product and $12 for the shipping. You could spend less total at Home Depot for pretty much the same thing.

i've pondered whether these will work and decided that they'd work for a few days. you'd need to change them out alot, and probly layer a bunch together. reason being is that can style carbon filters have x amount of pounds of carbon/charcol. those sheets maybe have a few grams of carbon. but hell, if they work thats cool.

Any thoughts how effective it is or becomes when combined with kitty litter? I've wondered about making my own can and combining both.

Yea, It looks like you would have to change these a lot. Are you limited on space? I would build your own carbon filter out of a laundry basket. It will last longer.

I think I've decided to built a carbon scrubber out of ducting. I've found some cheap bulk activated carbon on ebay, I think that's a better way to go.

The bulk carbon definitely will be better, you can make a true scrubber that will provide a lot more carbon surface area than those sheets will.

The sheets can work if you force your grobe exhaust through it, I built a contraption that does a decent job for 3-4 weeks before having to replace the sheets. Don't use it much anymore though.
