As far as the strain goes, I doubt it is purple haze. These were grown from bag seed. It is rather tasty smoke though.

Cold you guys say?...

That could be I've seen the temp swing between 38° and 90° Fahrenheit. I am working on tighter controls for this problem.

If it were a deficiency of some type, I wouldn't know. This is my first grow. The leaves turned color about 3 to 4 weeks ago. Seven days ago I started the process of flushing the soil to ready the plants for harvest.

Thanks all for the feedback.

MD

Let the cold come...I have taken her down and hung out to dry
The top on this one is a solid 2.5 inches in diameter and tips the scale at 20.2 grams. Taking into account the rest of the plant and the scale reads out at 42.6 grams. By the time it's dry, I'm hoping for 25 to 28 grams.

The next group of plants that will go into the flower room will have a much better place to call home while they flower. I've been real busy building a 16 channel micro controller that should take care of all the environment needs to keep the flower room very stable using a closed loop system to monitor changes. All the hardware needed is already in place. All that’s left is a few lines of code and it's done.
<O
<O
Here is what will happen once the system goes live:
<O
...Run the lights to whatever time duration I set
<O
...Monitor temperature and turn on and off fans, heater and AC to keep the room at constant 75° degrees
<O
...Control humidity to between 55 and 60% RH
<O
...Monitor the pH level in the reservoir
<O
<O
I have also designed the closed loop to feed Co2 when the temperature and humidity levels are within spec so that the fans will not be running.

I also have other ideas that I will code in later for real time feedback that the operator can review with the push of a button. This is all done for less than $150 buck on the electronics needed.

Sure, I'll send the code to you once I've tested it out to ensure there are no bugs lurking in the sub routines or loops.

I'm not a programmer by trade, but when push comes to shove, I can get by. The code has taken me the longest to develop at roughly 8 or 9 hours. Hardware is what I do for a living so that only took a couple of hours to interface between the controller, relays and sensors.

Once I'm happy with the process control, I'll compile all my notes and schematics together for anyone who should like to have them.

MD

cool, i was going to say that the program/script? (what did u use to make the code?) would be kinda pointless if we didnt know what u had set up for hardware...

i might forget about this so do u thimk u could pm me about this or else make a whole new thread?
