How are my three plants looking? first time.

The biggest one is 3 weeks old. the second is 2 and the third is 10 days.

The leaves on the two smaller ones seem extreemly wide but I don't know. I am working with very low humidity. 30-40%. but more around 30%. I will fix this very soon but will low humidity of this sort degrade the quality?
this is afgani. does it look ok?
this is my first time. I've barely done any agrdening in my life aside from this. it's so exciting.
I have them under 10,000 lumens of flourescent light, 24/7. and an ocolating fan in the area the stems have thickened up in the last week. when should I be putting them on a 12/12 light cycle?

I hope to have atleast one female and one male. how likely is this.

Thanks!

Is my 30% humidity a real problem for them?

id transplant soon, bigger the pot the bigger the plant will be. get yourself some more lights. your gonna need some heavy duty cfls, or if you want more bang for your buck, dish out about 100 dollars and het a 400w hps. put em on 12/12 after about 6-8 weeks of veg, or until you see while pistils forming. other than that they look heathy. what ferts you gonna use?

The broad leaves just mean an indica-dominant strain, most likely. You can switch to 12/12 whenver you want, though the longer you veg them the bigger your harvest, so I always think it is worth investing a few extra weeks.

Agree with other advice about transplanting and lighting. You could do a 250w HPS for just 3 plants, that's a lower power bill and less heat to deal with, but you may want more wattage for future grows (I don't know anyone who didn't grow more plants the 2nd time around).

Really, you'll need that.

The plants look fine. Humidity is fine, though could be slightly higher, I guess. Lower humidity helps keep certain pests and bad fungus at bay.

One plant may be male.

You have some reading to do.

Don't worry, be happy

don't worry so much, but if you are out of weed I can understand some concern.
be patient, but that is easy for an old dinosaur to say.
little more humidity would help but plants look fine, they are tough, example:

friend gave me two clones in March which I sat by the pool
plants looked bad but finally started growing
plants flowered in June, I harvested flowers, left leaves and plant intact
plants started growing and looking good
my dog ate all leaves on both plants down to 4 inches high-ate 3 bags of dog food and slept the rest of the day
plants look like shit, then start growing again
plants recover, cloned app. 40 plants off the two
end of September took the 2 foot high plants inside and moved from dirt to hydro e&f tray
End of October harvested plants again and was very happy
Patience my friend.

how true!! i'd go with the 400w, because it's better to have too much light (no such thing!) rather than not enough.

hmm. You sure that's not low humidity. The temperature in there is a constant 27 degrees.

More like a little too hot. In my experience of cold plants (not a lot) they roll their leaves, if they show any symtom at all. Margin curling is easy to do with a little excess heat. I have a plant that curls its margins at 27C. No biggie, so long as that's as far as it goes.

se7enUP, if the humidity is troubling you, leave out some saucers of water (or vermiculite soaked in water, or something).

Humidity control

Yo -MU, how about a humidifier like you use in a sick kid's room. Think that would help much?
