thanksgiving harvest (pics) 1st time ,nirvana white widow

so i chopped down my trees yesterday after thanksgiving dinner. i had 6 plants, i got the seeds from nirvana.nl and they are white widow. i have them hanging upside down from the stem in a dark closet in a warm room and a fan blowing air out of the closet. this is my first harvest, so im not sure how i am going to dry and cure them. any help would be appreciated. heres some eye candy for ya









how much dry wieght do you guys think ill have???? i cant wait!!!

i just hang mine for a few days like 4 or 5 days then i cut them smaller and put in a glass jar that i open a few times everyday or sometimes if its still too wet i leave the top open all day then i just keep opening it and closing it everyday until it gets pretty dry then i don't opena nd close so much anymore then its time to enjoy!!! but u can actually smoke it after about 4 or 5 days without curing but it does taste better after a month or so of cure. it will still get you blazed tho after 4 days of drying. this is just how i do it some people use paper bags or carboard boxes to help dry. its all up to u i guess

thanks, yeah ive heard about people drying for a week then a week in the paper bag, i think if i can get ahold of some paper bags then ill try it out. where can i get jars from???? BIG jars??? id really like to only cut off the bare stems and keep the big colas so i can pull one out and be like check this bud out!!!

lol dude those scizzors are ruined now! by the time i was finished with the 4th plant i couldnt cut anymore with them cuzz they were so sticky with resin!

Clean your tools with rubbing alcohol between harvesting each plant; it cuts right through that resin so they can still cut. Congrats on a sweat TGiving day harvest.

i didnt weigh it wet, my scales batteries are dead and i think my scale is way to small for the big colas. im hopin to get about 5-6 ounces

nice job... how long did you veg them for? how tall were they when you started to flower? I am on my first grow also and would be happy with your yield. What kind of lights? Soil or hydro?

thanksgiving is an american holiday where we're supposed to give thanks for all we have, a day of family togetherness and generosity. usually turkey or ham is the classic meal. funny thing though, they say the pilgrims and indians sat down to eat with each-other and what not. well, when the pilgrims landed we slaughtered the indians (not cool) and enslaved the rest (still not cool). so how did they go from warring with each other to eating a meal together? idk. also it's the official start of the holiday season.
when i've clogged up my scissors trimming weed i scrape the resin off of the scissors and vape it. gets ya pretty ripped.

The pilgrim waited till after dinner to kill and enslave. Just kidding, the original pilgrims didn't try and kill off the natives. Best way of thinking about thanksgiving is christmas without the presents.

As for the sissors, absolutely scrape that resin of and smoke it. Why in gods name would you do otherwise.

yes enjoy the harvest man ...now that you know abit about our Widow , iam sure next grow will be even better ..if you decide to grow our Widow again
