is my lightbulb casing too hot?
I have a 1000w bulb going for the first time and its pretty hot.. I have a temperature
reader taped on to the metal casing that holds the light bulb and its reading 135.5 degrees (57.5celsius). Is that really hot or is that what they should be at? I also have a fan with air conditioning tubing sucking the hot air out from the top part of the casing. What should I do? Last edited by burn1down; 11-19-2006 at 06:36 PM. |

You can buy one of these,
http://www.insidesun.com/images/prod...tube-white.jpg It connects up to a fan ventilation system to keep the temps. coolers. SOunds better than shop vac setup. |
