Torn between PowerGrower Eco and WaterFarm System

I was gonna set up a homemade hydro system but if the carpet floods the jig is pretty much up so I decided I'm gonna go ahead and buy a compact hydro system for each plant. If I go with the PowerGrower I can grow two plants, each will have about a 6 gallon reservoir. With the Water Farm System I can grow 3 to 5 plants but they only have 4 gallon reservoirs with 2 gallon gowing chambers. I'm leaning towards the PowerGrower but since I'm so inexperinced i thought I'd ask for help. Thanks guys
