additional power supply

needing to get power to my garage to setup a new and bigger grow.have asked before to not much avail.been told not to run a extension cable as there are regulations that you should follow.all thats needed apparentlly is to place an additional armoured cable from the house fuse box and run it to the desired area and fit mains sockets there.how do you go about wiring the cable to the board?what core cable would be best for running a 600w hps,half a dozen fluros,inlet and outlet fan and options for future expansion?thx in advance for any help/guidance or advice given
