i alway thaught the max you could get was 1500 but just found out there is 1650 and 2000 Watter's

nice ballast , but did you notice that the 2000 watt ballast can only be plugged into a 480 V receptacle? The 1000 watt can be interchangeably be plugged into a 120/240/480 volt receptacle with the proper wiring. The last time I checked, the largest line you have coming in is usually 240 and thats for your appliances.

Nice ballast, but very impractical for the DIY homegrower.

Yea, 2000 would be great and all, but then you have to have special this and special that. I will stick to my 3 1000 watt mh bulbs and my 2 400 watt hps bulbs thank you very much

Yea i like my 1000 watter and 400 watter just fine.

But I will say this whole LED craze really intrigues me. Anyone ever used LEDs on a large scale? Like 20 + plants? Hmmm.. Probably shud start up a test garden before buying all the supplies for it...

^^ i read a friggin epic novel on led's last night (not really, just a very long article) and it's got my attention. i'll be watching any led grow thread there is, because income taxes will be returned in a few months and it might be worth it to drop a couplefew c-notes on them.

Signature Limits: All signatures should not exceed the following size limits, and you can't have both text and images. Text Signatures: 4 lines normal size OR 8 lines small size and up to 90 chars per line. Font sizes above 2 are not allowed. For images in signatures: 1 image up to 300 pixels wide, 125 pixels tall and 20k in size.
