I found this type of fitting to be a bit better. You can get it at pet supply or aquarium supply. I think this is the right spec. 1/2" Bulkhead Fitting - T x T

Did you ever install bucket/res chillers into your buckets? How effective were they at reducing the temp of your nutrient solution? Were you using something like the IceProbe(if you have seen it before)?

would this be something that petsmart would likely have?

OC yours needs nothing buy love. Nice setup.

Not sure if you can get bulkhead fittings at Petco/Petsmart.

Ice probes don't work. I have two of them in my junk box.

That was my personal opinion after seeing them online with prices ranging from $50-$200+ for one unit. Seemed a little too much like snake oil junk to me.
Thanks for the heads up

Hi! I have one question about cloning, if the plant has hairs already is it good for cloning??? The plant is just starting to grow hairs but we wanted to see if it was possible to start the cloning right now, we have an hydroponic system and the plant is very healthy but we don't want to fuck up the plat by trying to clone it if it can't be done. Thanks in advance!

Bye!

You can clone at any stage. My mom plant always has hairs. I made her after I knew the sex, so I am stuck with her at that stage of growth. No big deal at all.

yo rump,

how do you like this? sorry for the crappy pic, i cant draw wether it be paper and pencil or a paint program . this is my idea for my 4 plant RDWC tub set up,

its basicly an 18 gallon tub with plenty of airstones (way over kill again) that serves as the root zone, ill have a small pump in there that constantly drains to a 15 gallon tub but the drain is kind of high for a smll waterfall effect, its not the 8-12 inches you need for waterfalls but it will help some,

from the 15 gallon there will be another identical pump re-filling, from a little high for the water fall effect, nd i will house my lava rock for beneficial bacteria.

in the pic it shows what it would look like when they were end to end, but i plan to build them side by side, just couldnt draw it that way, i hope this was not too long, or anything and you understand what im getting at and the drawing,

any holes for hoses nd drains will either be mad with the grommets that you stick in the drilled hole and run tube through, or the bubble bucket 1/2 inch adapters,

thanks a ton man,

i will begin the construction asap,

do you think ill run into problems with twisted roots with that much of a water flow?

i know the sub. pump will pull some roots in, but ill grab pumps with those big black sponge things on them maybe that would help yeah?

also, would using lava rock in a small layer to hold my air stones in place be a good idea? i plan to house some in the res anyways, so im not sure what to do there

I have never built a recirculating system. So I have no clue. The air-stones look fine.
