Thanks, that's good to know, that's nice you don't have to mess with nutes all through veg and into the first part of flowering! With DWC/Drip systems, if an overfert situation ever happens, do you have to flush the entire system, run plain ph'ed water for awhile and then back to nutes, OR if it's caught right away, can you just readjust it, by draining some water out of it and just adding back some plain PH'ed water into the mix reducing the ec level?

Good question. I have not had this happen yet. I guess I wold fill it with water and wait till the plants come back to life, then fill with normal nutrients.

I get air from outside my home (in the shade at the base of the garage). Right now the room fan only comes on one time an hour for about five minutes. During the summer it cycles a lot more.

Wow! So you need to pump at least 60 gallon (230 liters) of air through every bucket every hour!
That's more than I expected. So I need to buy bigger pumps than I've been looking at

so i got the whole thing built except the pebbles that are in the mail, was very easy, found like 95% of evrything at the local hardware store and im rlly thankful that this thread exists, the only question that i have so far is about the ph level, from what i've read people are saying that this is the end all be all of the plants survival, if i could just get a quick suggestion of what the best items would be to buy for this measuring and adjusting process, any help would be spectac

im using a 20 gallon air pump for my 5 gallon tub. dont see why that wouldnt be sufficient. let me know rumple.

Do you really need that powerful of a pump for one bucket or is that for like two buckets

I use 2, 20-60 gallon dual outlet pumps for 2 buckets. I connect the first outlet to the first bucket and the second outlet to the second bucket. Do the same with the 2nd pump and you will have a fail safe setup in case one of the pumps dies. The pumps are very cheap and a small investment in case of a failed pump. I am thinking these people are trying to set people up or something. This site is the only place that I have been on to discuss growing and I was really suspicious when I got that email. Have you ever been contacted like that? I am so mad just don't know if I should even answer or not.

I get PMs here all the time asking me to sell. I never answer them, I just foward them to an admin. Copy the email and PM this guy AugustWest . He will take care of it.

Thanks NewYorkKush, but I'm not always right. I wish it was true, I would not have hundreds of dollars of worthless junk in my attic. I have tried a shit load of stuff that only made it to my junk pile.
