bunch of questions about upcoming grow (tons of assistance plz)

well im thinking about starting a grow a little after christmas with 3 different strains first of all strain selection...

and crosing them.

Now all of these are sensi seeds, and all seem perfect to me....

my only other questions about the strains are is there any tips to crossing my plants?? (maybe on how i could stop the Mr. Nice G13® x Hash Plant® from being pollenated, other then growing inside)
i want my second grow to be an upgraded virsion (most importantly only metal halide lamps because i will be flowing outside) of this next christmas, where i will cross the Big Bud X Silver Haze with the Mr. Nice G13® x Hash Plant®...

there going to be grown in 5 gallon buckets with hydro, with this Max LST method:

planting right after chistmas indoors; then transfer them outside for flower for as long of the summer as possible.

so total i will be germing 48 seeds, 24 females (theoreticly) to transfer outside.


when the 48 or so plants are vegging i dont want to spend a ton on a hydro setup, so id like to know if i can use a sump pump (i will update the gallons per minute of the pump tomorrow, its about 1:20 am here and im to tired), with regular hose connectors so i can use regular spickets for hoses??? and also ive heard of peoples water pumps clogging because of nutes, wouldnt using this pump help with clogging of pumps due to nutes??

speaking of hydro what nutes do u guys reccommend (links are a huge help here)

and for lighting im starting with:
(Silver haze and big bud)

400w mercury vapor lamp (i no it sounds stupid but i found some good growing bulbs for it online)
and above stated floros...


So my questions basicly are:
1. any tips to crossing my plants?
2. how to not have my Mr. Nice G13® x Hash Plant® pollenated while pollinating other plants (without growing it inside)
3. can i use a sump pump for hydro with 48 plants, if they all sprout?
4. i would love reccomendations on nutes i really havent looking into this much...
5. any reccomendations on floro bulbs or fixtures relatively cheap with high lumen output


this is my first grow and i know people are gonna say i shouldnt be trying this for my first grow, but ive been reading up sence i made an account, almost every day...
