Stealth Hydro Aeroponics System

http://www.stealthhydroponics.com/pr...xProd=2&xSec=2

Has anyone used this product before? I saw a link on the forums today, checked it out, and it looks amazing. I'm half tempted to buy one right now, but I figure I should get some feedback if possible before I do anything.

I've used one, it works great. Its like a mix between a dwc and a drip system. I went with my own lights, and I've tried their nute's. I would recommend putting the drip on a timer, and starting very slowly with their nutes.

Yeah, I'm using that system, man. It's working very well, but is very small. I wouldn't try to grow more than two plants in it because they wind up crouding each other out of light, but that's my personal opinion.

I keep my pump running 24/7. Something you need to keep a look out for is the filter that's in the octopus thing. It tends to clog up and then your plants don't get any solution unless the roots have grown down into it.

Do not use their nutes. They're garbage for cannabis. You could use them long enough to get some good nutes, but I'd use them as short a period as possible. The main problem with them is that they ph balance the solution to 6.5. You wind up with serious nute lock in your plants after a little while, so if you're going to use them then you need to mix them up in the res and then ph it down to 5.8 with the ph down that comes with the system.

It's a really good system for learning with, and for really small grows. The thing is though, you could easily build that thing yourself for a hell of a lot less than they're charging for it. I knew that as soon as I understood exactly how the system is put together. It only looks complicated if you're uneducated, as I was. It doesn't even have that many components. Hell, I bet you could build a system like it, but better with little effort and spend a lot less doing it.

Here's a pic of what it looks like with three plants at 2 weeks of flowering. As you may, or may not be able to tell, the 3" net pots are really too small to counter balance a tall, heavy plant. I'm starting to have trouble with the big female wanting to tip over.

Tommygirl and ryan thanks for posting! I was looking into buying one of those systems as well (a deep water culture). Not sure if that works as well as the bubble one... but what light are you using? The plants are looking great tommygirl
