The Perfect Spectrum *Graphs*

Hi runner nice graph you posted with the MH and HPS spectra plotted together.
It's also very wrong, you put the HPS way outside of the visible range....

I also considered using blue and red fluro tubes for my grown.
Their spectra when combined is very good indeed.
I did not use them because I found out that red and blue tubes are nothing more then regular tubes with some fancy paint to filter out the non-wanted light.

Example :

if a normal 18W 4000K tube does 1500 lumens the red 18W version will only do a few 100 lumens.
the lumens per watt rating of those colorpainted tubes is shit.
if you wanna use fluros go with the normal cold blue and warm red tubes in combos.
