Does it help growth? Or hinder? /quote] Theoretically you can trim when your plant has 2 leaves. Just cut off one and leave the other. I wouldn't know why anyone would want to do that. People don't trim to mess with the juice flow. People trim to get a certain shape. People cut off tops so the plant will make hormones to promote side shoots. Sometimes people cut off big ol' fan leaves to let the light shine on the lower newly developed side shoots. So in essence people only trim AFTER they run into some kind of 'problem'.
