White strain, When is it ready??

Basically I'm over 6 weeks into the flowering stage of my 1st ever indoor grow and am gettin worried that I won't be able to tell my buds are ready because its a white strain,
The strain I'm growing is Ice from Nirvana seedbank and going off the only white strain I've ever smoked, White Widow, I don't remember ever seeing anything other than white in the buds,

anyone grown Ice or a similiar white strain fancy helpin me out??

The flowering time for Ice is about 8 or 9 weeks if I remember right. Wait until week 8 and if the majorirty of the white hairs have turned amber, you should be close to harvest. Post some pics and I could probably give you a more exact date.

I've got one pic that aint very clever, I just needed re-assuring that Ice did actually produce darker hairs when ripening

I only gave these about 18 days of 24/7 for veg and then put them on 12/12 under 400w HPS, this is about 3 days ago and like I say they're almost 7 weeks flowering
