to day i made up a simple 3 light cfl set up out of scrap wood and a bathroom light fixture you can get at kmart lowes walmart and homedepot for around 10 bucks and a normal light cord can be made into a 6 light with y sockets hope this helps some one out or some one inproves on the design let me know what you guys think

OK heres the planes for what i made and a list of what i used and the tools i used
to make the slants on the side i used a 2x4 the top was measured and cut at 4 1/8" the bottom is 8 1/8" which gives the angle
the sides i used a piece of plywood 1/2" thick its what i had handy you can use thinner thicker or use osb or mdy or the white plastic bathroom paneling. what ever you choose to use and i covered it with the dull side of the foil. the size was 21" long and 7 1/4" tall
now the base i screwed the fixture onto and to the 2x4 ends. you cane use the 2x4 or a 1x4 board what ever you want to use as long as its 3 1/2" to 4" wide. that piece is 21" long. remember to drill a hole to stick the wires threw
OK to the tools i used. i used a skill saw but if you don't own one a hand saw will work just takes longer. homedepot and lowes can cut your wood as well if you don't have a saw for a small fee. second tool was a drill. to screw every thing together and drill the hole for the wires. i used 1 1/8" drywall screws to screw it all together but can be nailed as well.
the light is just a cheap 3 light bathroom fixture that you can get at target homedepot lowes walmart kmart can be found for $8 to $11 pretty cheap. the cord i used was for a lamp they can also be got at the stores listed above for $2 to $4. you can make this into a 6 light by buying 3 y sockets as well
please ask? ill be glade to help out
