HPS Electricity Usage Question...
Say you start growing indoors... you never have before... and you use 1 400 W HPS for 5- 10 Plants... How much do you think that would be extra month for Electricity, considering the average time you use a HPS 18/6 and 12/12. To make it short, How much extra do you get charged on your elec. bill when you use a 1 HPS lamp for your couple plants.

5 cents per kwh for 400w of light on 18 hours a day will cost 10.80 a month. see link to input correct info.
