light question

will a 5ft 70w flouro with 2 40w bulbs be sufficient for 3-4 plants? atleast in a veg?

oh one more thing, if the light itself says 70w and the two bulbs each say 40w, does that meanits 80 + 70 = 150 or just 80 or just 70?

Yes
The total would be 430 and will be fine for 3-4 plants

Sorry.
I read 5 70 watt CFL's + 2 40 watters. My bad. 150 will be a bit dim. Figure 15 watts per square foot during veg and 30 watts per square foot during flower BARE MINIMUM. Dividing the light by 4 plants you will have about 37.5 watts per plant or right at the bare minimum for flowering providing those plants with their pots, take up no more space than one square foot. So, I would agree with Shadowstalker that light will be fine for veg but short for flowering.
