how long should young plants have light?

Hello everyone,

i am currently growing 3 northern lights indoors. the oldest is about 12 days old, and i was wondering what number of hours i should put the light timers on. i have it set now for 18 hrs light/6 hrs dark. is that ok? can i keep it that way for a while? pls suggest how you think i should manage the light right now. they are all about a 8 days old(give or take a few days). thanks for your input/

Alot of people go different ways on this, some people go 24/0 for the first 2 weeks or so, while others argue that then bringing them down from 24/0 to 18/6 in the begining of the veg state could trigger an immature flowering. Your call, if youve already been doing 18/6 for over a week though, I would assume to keep it that way.
