Dear members,

we experienced some downtime with pur servers again, sorry for that, we are actauly in possesion of our new webserver, but it will not be installed before march 13th, so be gentle with the forums and hang in there, reinforcements are on its way!

Pat Sjakk and Jimmy on the back and tell them thanks for getting it back in a fairly timely fashion. And yourself too of course.

Edit: For those of you that emailed Rummy or I directly wondering what was going on, thank you for your concern and we addressed the emails the quickest we could given the circumstances.

Yeah thank you Sjakk, Jimmy, and SJ! I was lost without GC! And also, I was pleased when I got an e-mail from RuMJiL telling me what was going on... Nice work guys.

You'll notice more stability and probably a bit faster response time, though I can't confirm that. The database server here is a beast and can handle about anything that could be thrown at it, but the webserver is starting to show it's age a bit because of the massive growth we've experienced in just the past couple of months, Wykidd. Which shows you how big the City is starting to get.

yea i know i havent been here long, but i guess some people (as myself) hadnt realized how much this effort the staff/mods do to keep this site up, as well as "clean" from the junk other internet sites contain. Thank you for your efforts. -scoob

I wasn't able to email everyone, by any means, but I tried to alert some of you Blades!

just wanted to toss in a big THANK YOU for the email heads up. I normally check email before i head into GC and it was a very good warning(as i would have head to the city right after that and woulda been upset it wasnt working) but the email heads up calmed me down about the issue

After i posted the thread a while back(through direct help from Indy and SJ) the forum has been working wonderfully for me(except for the little laspe where it was down)

i absolutely LOVE that the City is monitored so closely and the members are aware of what is going on

Text Signatures: 4 lines normal size OR 8 lines small size and up to 90 chars per line. Font sizes above 2 are not allowed. For images in signatures: 1 image up to 300 pixels wide, 125 pixels tall and 20k in size.
