About a week ago I (Well, my parents) decided to buy my mom and I pieces off Grasscity as a New Year's present. My mom and I both picked out 4 favorites for ourselves making the grand total 8 pieces between us. We paid for and are expecting a few spoons, a chillum, a bubbler and a bong. We made sure to choose the quickest delivery option possible which was a 3-4 day delivery (whats up with that shit anyway? No overnight delivery? Express?). We knew this meant business days and we know how corrupt and shady delivery companies are, which is why we're all starting to worry now because it's now been 7 days since the day we ordered, not counting the weekend thats 5 business days.
What guaruntee do we have that we'll recieve what we ordered in acceptable condition? Is there anything I can do, like perhaps input the credit card # that we used and have the package tracked to its last recorded pitstop? I've never ordered from Grasscity before or know anyone who has, how is it's reputation as an online headshop anyway? Grasscity can afford to sell decent pieces for cheaper so that leads me to believe that the pieces are of lower quality, perhaps purposely made to look good here in pics but are much worse in real life. What if my package was lost or broken? Will Grasscity or whichever company is delivering the package be liable and cover the cost? Thanks in advance and sorry for seeming so paranoid but we put our trust in Grasscity and spent a lot of money...My family isn't rich or even middle class comfortable and everyone's heard of scams like this before, though I've been lurking the forums for years and everything certainly seems legit far as I could tell.

We aren't on the street but we can't afford to be scammed for over $200 of merchandise intended as a gift. It wouldn't bankrupt us but it'd be a big hit to us financially and otherwise. You have to realize that I didn't tell you the 100% accurate story for the sake of easy reading and brevity, there are parts I left out, changed or didn't mention at all because it would only complicate and confuse. The point of the story is what matters...
I'm in Chicago. I understand the holidays are a busy time of year and that shit happens, but look at it from my point of view, what assurance do I have to ease my worries? The money has already been paid and nowhere did I see some kind of warranty or reimbursment promise from Grasscity. Packages disappear from delivery trucks ALL THE TIME so it's not exactly an exxagerated far fetched "what if?". I'd like to know if something does happen I won't be left out in the cold with my dick in my hand, nahmean?

that sucks bro i think you have a reason to be a little pissed. you payed the extra dough so you could get your stuff earlier, and youre still waiting. sometimes it seems like these sites are more than happy to take your money, but when it's their turn to do their job everything gets kind of funky.

I moved this to General Feedback where it belongs and you need to contact the Shop via email at this address: support@grasscity.com
...or go here.... http://shop.grasscity.com/support I'll let SJ know about this, also. |

I'm not trying to make excuses for the Shop; however, the company that I work for is being slammed with customer service issues right now due to the weather screwing up delivery dates...we've had to eat a lot due to the f'in weather. There's a possibility that may have something to do with it. Whatever it is, SJ will figure it out but you need to contact support. I alerted him to this situation but he's on a completely different time schedule than us so please be patient while waiting for his reply.
