I Got A Good Idea!
I dunno if this is something that would be easily implemented, but some sort of small self-updating graphic on the posting window that indicated whether you had made a post in the last 60 seconds or not would be REALLY useful.
I know I'm not the only one that constantly loses posts because of that. What do you think?

i too have lost many posts through this chaotic 60 second rule

i stepped in a pile of dirtydingus while taking a big poppa puff of sensimil, got mad and went to reform mary jane laws, that didnt work so now igotthecottons, last night my neighbor caught me smokinokie so i chased that critter off, went inside, and rubbed my nubbin

yeah I try to do that too but I ALWAYS forget, and it seems the times I forget are the times my posts get gone!
(ironically I remembered to do it this time and I got the message and saved my post lol)

ya, always copy before you post. another good idea would be to make it so that, if you post too quickly, your message will still be there when you click back. it would be helpful for the people that, for some reason, cant remember to press two simple buttons- Ctrl and C.
