GC "Police Blotter"

In just about every local newspaper out there they have a section called the police blotter or to that effect. Basically it goes over the crimes in the area. I propose that we have our own police blotter in regards to the bans and illegal posts that are made on the city. It will help member more aware of what constitutes bans by mods giving a reason for such as well as informing members what is unacceptable to post.

This might seem unnecessary but I feel it is truly fair. I respect the mods here and their decisions but sometimes people are banned and no reason is apparent or a post is edited with minimal information provided. I just think it would be fair as a way of giving insider information if you will to the members of this forum as well as a deterrent for members that might be planning on posting something controversial.

Just a though. And yes this was brought up by Negs ban but it extends to more members than just him.

Edit; I'm all for us being able to know why our members, particularly the one off highly-respected ones such as Digit, Neg, etc, were banned... but just don't see this as how to go about it. No offense of course, just don't dig the idea.

I'm not trying to offend here, but we don't owe an explaination for any bans. SJ has trust that our actions are for the betterment of the City.
