I don't know if the admins or any of the mods can do anything (or want to), but there is a serious problem in the General forum with people posting the same topic over and over again. It's not anyone's fault who knows what the search function is used for, and uses it, but I want to freak out everytime I open the General forum. I was running really well until maybe a couple of weeks ago, and it seems like a bunch of fairly new people have been joining and just asking questions with reckless abandon.

Thanks guys, for keeping this place so wonderful. It's great to have a city of people like yourselves.

We live in an awesome City of green, don't we?

I want everyone to be happy but not everyone will be. However, it might help if the original post is reported with a reason of "topic's already out there...a gazillion times!!!" You could also post a link in the thread to a similar thread and then we could just close it after it's reported.

Repeat topics suck but our community has become a large one and it's sometimes hard to avoid, especially when people put a different spin on a repeat thread. However, we do want to avoid having the same topics over and over and it helps when we work together to make the madness stop.

The search button is a magnificent thing. Unfortunately, not everyone can make good use of it.
