I know theres already a forum, but why not make an organization.

Im not trying to steal thunder from AboveTheIgnorance (ATI), I just feel like that will end up being a waste of time.

Why not form a GC organization.. build upon what already exists. a) This site is much larger than ATI and has very similar goals and objectives b) The overall movement would be much better supported here than somewhere completely new and c) it would increase traffic here.

Again, I apologize, Im not trying to knock the blades who started ATI, but it doesnt seem practical. Especially given GC already has the near perfect front from such an organization.

Voice is power, and GC has more of a voice than a new forum could gain over years.

Communities of this size dont spring up overnight.

Thanks for the consideration.

(Perhaps a small membership fee to support the organization could be implemented, a portion of which would be donated directly back to GC, and supporters could gain special features within GC such as special forums only available to supporters)

Im really hoping we can get the neccessary support to get the admins to help us out.

it would also help this site generate revenue, so its a win- win situation.
