I personaly dont really bother with it i dont give or subtract rep from nobody and i dont get much but it dont bother. somebody wants to give me negative rep i dgaf it dont bother me dont make me less of a nice guy or make me a dick headand if i had a lot of rep that wouldnt make me the best or most imformative guy on here. just ignore it, dont sweat the little things dude lol

You get what you deserve, if you're nice or you help someone you can be rewarded. If you are a jerk, and post rude posts then people should be able to tell you you've gone over the line.

You said rude things, so people gave you a -rep. Maybe instead of now whining about this you should reflect on some of the things you have posted in the past and see what about them could have been interpreted as rude, uncalled for, or derogatory.

Changing this behavior will most likely make you look more favorable in other blades eyes, as well as showing us that you aren't a complete jerk. If you're getting a whole bunch of - reps maybe it isn't everyone else who is being immature, maybe it's you.

You must not know that user too well. And also, I don't think he's complaining about receiving neg rep, but pointing out that it's pointless and should be optional.

Lame thread and lame title bro. OG wasn't even in the same realm as GC. OG was rife with assholes and made the cannabis experience very fucked up at times. OG had some awesome features but it also had too many children and disruptive people. At least the people that make GC run do their damndest to make this place a whole lot friendlier.

As to the rep system, it's an open forum so there are bound to be abuses but this doesn't mean that the whole system should be scrapped. It's much more effective for people that believe in the values of GC to uphold them rather than push them to the side to appease a defeatist attitude. The rep system is a feature of this place not it's heart and deepest principles, if you're a contributing memeber in good standing why the fuck would you care?

uh AK, as much as i love GC, its no where near as informative as OG was...and i think even GC officials can agree with that
all forums have immature people and "kids" so i dont really get your point on how GC is ina diff realm than OG, if anything its the opposite.
