What if we changed the rep system...so that there were no rep bars below your name, but keep report bad posts feature, and good posts as well but like make it private, would this defeat the purpose of rep? and also, can u see the rep u leave others? that'd be cool.

ANd what about official gc contests? Do we still have 'em? Cuz who doesn't love to win free shit...

Just a few half baked thoughts...what does everybody think? I know we've polled whether or not ppl wanted to keep rep b4, but I still think it's dumb...at least the way it is now...

i wish we'd have a gc contest for something.

i don't think i've ever been around for one.

There was an unoffical Homemade piece contest that had a lot of hype but not a ton of people came through with the entries. If you guys want something to happen then go for it and try to start something up.

The Report Post feature has nothing to do with rep. It's just how you report a post that breaks the rules or that you have an issue with and you think we need to see it.

If the rep system is on then there is no way to hide the rep bars for everyone. There is also no way to see the rep that you've left for others. The rep system has a few good qualities but, overall, it's a headache and not really indicative of anything.

We don't have contests anymore. Sorry. That's SJ's call and he hasn't got plans for another contest right now.
