XBox360 vs PS3

I have enough money for either.
I think I like the games on the 360 better, or at least there are more of them. I like the 360 online community, I hear it's better than PS3s.

PS3 has blu-ray. Games on PS3 look better. I currently do not own a super awesome tv but within a year or so I will.

Get the new xbox 360 Call of Duty 4 Modern warfare 2 250 Gb HD. The game comes with it and its supposed to run faster with extra or faster processors and 2 wireless controllers. Agreed. I pre-ordered my last month in the town nearest mine. They sold out before november in my city.

It's a great deal since it comes with more than 2x the hard drive as any other XBOX with 2 $60 controllers, and the $20 headset.

Plus it looks sweet in a limited edition COD modern warfare 2 design on the console, and comes with the brand new $60 game.

Thats $200 in accessories alone, making this console the same price as the Arcade 360 but with 250GB hard drive included (another $200 dollar value) the Console itself is basically free with the purchase.

I used to own a 360 and now I have a PS3 sitting in the closet waiting for my son on Christmas morning...(I want to play it soooo bad but wifey says no!)

Anyway, Im hoping its as good as its been billed. I was happy with the 360 but I want super HD.

I got COD MW2 on order...cant wait to get stoned and play!

I'm getting that also, I got my first xbox when it came out but someone stole it last year. I remember when I got it that first day playing CoD 2 forever.

second, who says games look better on a PS3???

but get an xbox, i know many kids that have both that will agree.

Have had both, definitely prefer the PS3. ESPECIALLY since I'm not able to continuously play next to my modem, which means I'd have to shell out $100 just to have a wireless connection, which PS3 has built in. Sorry, but I don't feel like having cables running through my house just so I can play online or go update rosters or whatever it is. (Plus PS3 has a complete internet browser )

I also prefer the players on PSN compared to Live... there seems to be a LOT less little kids playing on PSN than there are on Live (which, in my opinion, ruins a lot of the 'fun' factor online when having to deal with little bratty 13 year olds).

Anyway, decision is ultimately yours but I'd choose PS3 anyday. Plus the graphics are better

this is a very valid point. built in wireless seems like a very smart idea. and although id be a noob for a little while i'd rather play with people who know what they are doing. though i remember playing halo in college with kids that sounded like they were 10 years old and saying things that might have scarred them for life

oh but what about downloadable games? doesnt xbox have MvC and other classic games for mad cheap? does ps3 have anything like that?

Xbox has tons and tons of downloadable games, alot of original xbox games and some 360 games, too.

i just downloaded GTA IV and San Andreas earlier today

I have both a i have 2 360s and a PS3 they both are really great and both have really great exclusives the 360s overall online is way better but the PS3 has blue ray, wifi and its own browser which is really cool i bought a ps3 slim cause the price drop and i do not regret it even though i do play my 360 more.

They sure do. You can buy old PS1 games, some arcade games I believe, things to customize your PS3 with (skins/themes and what not) and also independent developer's games that are very cheap.

If I'm not mistaken, they too have Marvel v. Capcom, but don't quote me because I'm not 100% on that.

I have both and as much as I hate to do it I reccomend the 360.

The ps3 is a better system overall and it still has alot of potential but as it stands the 360 is the way to go if you don't mind paying for online play. More games, better controllers and chances are more people you know will have a 360.

Got the 360 w 250gig HD. LOVE the on demand netflix, online gaming is sweet too.
360 is easier to hack too
