Wacked,
The hardness of the game was toned down on the console versions since the interface lacks the versatility of PC keyboard & mouse, from what I understand.
AND...
Completed my first playthrough, 72 hours 6 minutes 52 seconds. That's with the vast majority of the quests in the game done. Been a gaming machine since last Tuesday
IMHO the 360 experience is awesome, though after 30-40 hours I was able to start seeing "Oh yeah this is definetly designed for PC and ported to console" whereas a game like Mass Effect was designed for console and ported to PC. For me, consoles provide a lot more 'immersion' into the game, and so are my preferred platform.
However, due to the powerful modding tools I wouldn't be surprised if I eventually picked up the PC version.
Also, IMHO, Gaxkang the Unbound is the hardest enemy in the game.
From what I've read there are some bugs related to dexterity and daggers which reduce their effectiveness (something I definitely experienced)... but if you get quick with the stealth button use haste you can almost always maneuver your rogue to be constantly backstabbing, which certainly eliminates any dexterity issues (especially if your cunning is stupidly high like mine)... 2 longswords, 50 cunning, 3 grandmaster runes in each... cya.
Biggest complaint: not enough items, and not enough diversity of items. I love doing things like hunting down armor sets, etc, and there wasn't nearly enough of that. For example, no real rogue set.
THE ULTIMATE QUESTION: Can the game be solo'd? Well, there are a few points where you are forced to have a party member with you, but other then those I think it MIGHT-- MIGHT-- be possible on normal (or above, haven't played) if a rogue or mage were used. Rogue would need ranger, stealth, and a real focus on +health regen items.
