I'm only going to say that a majority of my co-workers/friends/family own 360s. And to me, playing with people that I know matters more than what game I'm playing.

It's fucking $50 a month. That's a little under $4 a month since you get 13, plus there are frequent sales where you can get 13 months for only $30. And has muchhhhh better content than PS3.

I'll admit I do love the Xbox and am a little bit of a fanboy haha.

But there really is no contest in the software right now. Microsoft has been able to get the step up over Sony because well, they're Microsoft.

Here's how I see it

Microsoft has pretty much all the basic features you would expect from an online console, with fewer "unique" (can't think of a good word) features.

Sony has less of the basics but some out there, unique features. For example, the internet browser, PS Home (That's the name right?), those sorts of things. While lacking cross-game chat which is what I was talkign about with the basic features.

the current OS for Ps3 has twitter support, and you can also stream tv's and movies instantly via netflix. Not that I use any of those features, just a fyi.

The reason I honestly bought mine was because of how large the ps2 game base became. People were buying PS2's years after its release, and for many people it isnt an obsolete gaming system. For me, having a system that has the potential to ruin games along with questionable reliability isnt an option. While the XBOX delivers good game performance for lots and lots of people. IMO its not on the same level as a nintendo or sony product.

Xbox 360

Pros: HUGE game library, awesome online, achievements, xbox live marketplace
Cons: Red Ring of Death (mine never did though, and I've had it for 3 years)

PS3

Pros: Awesome graphics, pretty good selection of exclusive games
Cons: Most games on PS3 are on 360

xbl is the whoop!!!! today for example you can play with icp in halo odst, the other day slipknot played cod4,i used to like sony up until 2000 when xbox hit the scene,i knew then it was over for sony.plus when mutiplayer started on original recipe xbox it was the death rattle for sony.and the comments on .".well you have to pay to be online".if you can afford the internet to be online whats another 6-7 dollars more to enjoy the game that much more.as far as better graphics??? i really dont think ps3 has that much better graphics.ive read numerous articles on comparison 360 wins everytime

Well the PS3 has its own internet browser built in so it kind of already has those applications as well as the entire internet.

Xbox Live has achievements for every game.

The PS3 has trophies for every game which is essentially the exact same thing.

Actually it does, most of the DLCs that come out are available for the PS3 also. You can also buy exclusive arcade games and PS1 games in the marketplace and buy "gamer pictures" as well as other gimmicky stuff similar to xbox.

Don't get me wrong, I like my 360 more than my PS3 but you are judging the PS3 way too harsh man. One of the things I LOVE about my PS3 is that the controller battery life and recharge time are FAR superior to xbox.
