Seriously dude. I played that game (OoT) when I was just a kid, and I have yet to find a game I loved more, spent longer playing, or was more satisfied when I beat.

Re: Zelda fan theories and secrets

yeah I was a little disapointed by MM also. Not that it was a really bad game or anything, I just think I was so blown away by the first N64 Zelda (OoT) that I expected MM to be amazing. It was good, but I suppose OoT is a hard act to follow.

One thing I dislike about MM is time. Have 3 days to explore before returning to main town and drop all your money to bank then go back in time. Repeat, repeat, repeat.

i agree it should have been like 7 days, not three becuase every hour = 1 min. so thats 24 min a day times 3? not much time

I thought this was one of the best aspects of the game. Once you realize that the character movements, schedules, locations, events etc. sync up on the timeline, and how you can predict them, and how they incorporate this into not just the main quests, but the side quests as well, it strikes you as brillant. If you go back and beat every side quest, get every mask, do everything you can possibly do in the game, you'll understand the scope of it. I like this game just as much as not more than OoT.

Finding all the secrets in this game(and to a SOMEWHAT lesser extent, it's predecessor), and doing it again and again, occupied me for YEARS when I was young.

These to games were literally the only games I played from the time I was 6 till around 12. And I still boot up the 64 on occasion.

If you play the song that slows down time it extends the days quite a bit.

it exactly slows down time to half speed, so every hour is two minutes in real time versus one. its really nice to use in a dungeon like the stone tower temple.

Re: Zelda fan theories and secrets

So, why does the world hate on Wind Waker so much? It wasn't as good as OOT, but I thought it was still a terrific game.

Anybody have some opinions?

It really did though, they did a brilliant job with that game. And by once, do you mean you just played it for like an hour? Cause that doesn't really count then....

You can't just think about the odd graphics, which I came to like, as the game is pure Zelda fun. The puzzles, bosses, weapons, the adventure...pure zelda.
