Hey guys im just looking for a fun free mmo ti play while im stoned out after work. Just looking for a good community to jump into and fun game mechanics. Don't care too much about graphics. I used to play a game called Conquer Online a while back and it was a top down game with an amazing community and guilds would actually go at it and hate each other/start aliances. I am up for dropping a little bit of money if needed. Right now I am playing Realm of the mad god and its pretty damn fun

I just tried Conquer online. It was horrible tbh. Lots of players but the graphics sucked and the jumping while moving got a little annoying.

Hit up Free Online MMORPG and MMO Games List - MMO Hut they have great lists of MMO's and MMORPG's. You can sort them by how big the community is, how easy it is to level up, reviewer ratings, etc.

I play Potbs on occasion, all the PvP is max-level 6v6's though so lots of questing too enjoy the PvP.

Lord of the Rings Online has my vote... Pretty good MMO to be able to play for free. It runs on the micro-transaction economy so you could spend a little cash and get cool stuff. But you don't have to. Also, if you sign up for the monthly billing you get extra stuff too. Pretty sweet deal, seeing as you might not have the extra cash for a game like Warcraft one month and not get to play at all, versus a game like this where you don't have to spend the money. $15 buys a dime bag, a blunt wrap, and a pack of smokes for me.

How is the community and guild system in lotro? Is the progression fun and worthwhile or is it like most other games where there's like one armor every few levels

Vanguard might be worth checking out.
