Why are my threads being deleted?

Two of my recent threads have both been deleted by what (appears to be) a mod. I put a lot of time into typing them up and don't appreciate them being taken down without a proper reason.


EDIT: Just checked my post history, one thread somehow un-subscribed itself and became hidden from the forums, but is still in existance, the other one is truly gone.

Without more info, one can not tell. Did they meet the requirements of the forum guidelines i.e. no talk of other drugs, getting animals or minors high, talk of violence, etc? Here check it out;

IC this is a question that's better handled by a mod. I can only see threads that are deleted in the forums that I moderate, but I can see that one thread you started was deleted because it violated the "No other drugs" rule...and that's the only one I see deleted.

Absolutely better handled by a mod, yet it never hurts to offer help and may result in a mod not having to do anything.

True...but it's not really a big deal...

That is the conclusion I came to, however when I too checked my subscriptions, they were gone, I deleted one myself, and all three abided by the guidelines. To others who say it should be handled by a moderator: I had assumed that this section was watched by moderators, and they would personally reply to the thread to resolve the issue, i'm very sorry if that was a mistake

Yes, the thread you linked to was definitely in violation of the rules- we have a STRICT no other substance policy - and that one violated the rules. We do not have the time nor inclination to give a personal message every time a thread is deleted - however we do leave a note on the thread which is visible if you view the forum in it's entirety.

One assumes that by "other substances" you mean other drugs, such as heroin, cocaine, ecstacy, etc.
not a bunch of household items suggested as a substitute in case a marijuana user is stuck in a foreign place with no hookups, and is addicted to the high.

Heh...YOU ASSume too much - read the rules- No discussions of "legal highs" are allowed either...which is what you were advocating.
