Novembeard and Secret Stache Day

Hello everyone!!

In my school, all the guys are going to grow out a beard during November, then on a completely random day everyone is going to shave the beard but leave the mustache.

I've never grown out a full actual beard before, so im looking for some beard growing tips. Like should i shave every day until November then just stop shaving?

If you guys could give me some beard growing tips/ maintnence that would be so amazing.

I put this thread here because personally i believe that growing/sporting a good beard is part of your lifestyle. If any admins want to move it they are completely welcomed

Awesome idea for a thread. I would like to hear some beard growing advice as well, pass on the knowledge, going backpacking for 6 months and want to save money on razors.

lol round here we call it mo-vember. I dunno if it's only here that Mo means Moustache, but just incase it is, mo means moustache.

Yea basically if you can't grow a beard then shaving every day isnt gonna make it happen any quicker sorry dude.

No shave November is a glorious month. I contest the idea that it has to apply below the belt though, no way I'm sporting a wolverine in my pants. My girlfriend says it's going to be a long month for me after the first week...lol. Really though, just let it grow and do its own thing. Trimming won't make it grow any faster. The urban legend about shaving and having it come in thicker is because hair follicles are thicker at the bottom, it just appears to be fuller.

mmmmm, hairy faces. what a lovely idea. i wish my boyfriend would grow a moustache. he said it's too scratchy =( but it comes in so nice and lumberjackie.

there's really no 'trick' to growing a beard, it just comes in as it does and you have to be happy with it

i have had a full beard for several years, but my moustache has never connect to my beard so the solution for me is just to grow the 'stache a little longer towards the ends so it appears to connect, plus i can curl the tips upward and look like a villain

Lol at the bolded part. But yeah, my mustache doesn't connect either so we're in the same boat.
