Is it normal for your joints to pop and crack while doing Pilates? I am a beginner and I want to start doing this daily but When I did it yesterday I felt a LOT of popping and cracking. I just want to make sure I am still able to move when I am 60 too! BTW I am a 25 year old Female

Hey, cool thread. I'm just under 6ft, problem is I've got quite a bit of a beer belly/gut primarily down to bad eating and a real lack of regular exercise. Is there any specific advice (if I was given a pound every time my doctor has said "Start eating right and exercise "I would be a very rich man) you could give me that could maybe trim/tone me up in a drastic way? I'm not looking for a quick fix, this is something I'm willing to spend time on. Not sure about my exact weight, but last time I checked I was 14 stone (so about 196lbs if my conversion is up to scratch). Thanks

heyy, i just finised reading through the pages in this thread and i believe alot of the advice you gave i can apply to myself. Im an 18 yr old female just started college and maintain a weight of 154-156 im 5'5. Except for the last month ive been working out regularly for the past 3-4 months. I need to tone up my arms, stomach (love handles are driving me crazy!!!!!!!!) and work on getting a bigger butt. I used to do an hour of cardio atleast 3 days a week and then used some weight machines for my arms after that but that entire routine wasnt effective.I felt better and looked a little better but wasnt really dropping the desired weight. I need a plan that will help me drop to about 145-150 while toning up. I LOVE the stair master and eliptical i also would do treadmill at a speed of 2.9 which is not a jog. Also i have a bad habit of only eating 1 or 2 times a day and making it big meals(taco bell, outback, pancakes, omlettes etc) Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
