Anyone else absolutely addicted to their running schedule?
I cannot stand days that I don't have time to atleast run 2-3 mi. (not very often).
Best addiction Ive ever had by far.

Yup back in the days when I played ball in highschool I definitely loved being in shape and the good ol' runners high.
Gotta admit tho, ever since all that shit ended I haven't been running as much only been weight lifting.

Yeah I love my lifting too, but running is more enjoyable to me.
I just feel off when I don't get to run. i.e. Tommorow Im just lifting and taking a day off running for the sake of my legs, and Im not necessarily looking forward to it.

Have you always been into running?
I'm a lazy SOB and I need to start. Hopefully once I get into routine it'll turn into an addiction. Somehow I doubt it, though. At this point I dread the idea of running hahah. I ran the other day and had to lay down for a good hour because I literally just felt like dying. This was after a few years of smoking and couch-lock status for a couple months, though.

No. I actually really fucking hated it at first.
It's much more pleasant after a few months, once you get into better shape.

Yea I remember last summer I was playing a lot of ultimate frisbee and increased the time I could hold a steady run by so much. It was much more enjoyable when I wasn't dying to breathe after 4 minutes..

Still haven't ran much this year, currently cycling a few miles to work every morning and lifting every other day but I want to start running.
Any reccomendations for good running shoes? I have the crossfit vibrams but they are already degraded on one of the toes, I use them for P90X still.

No idea on the running shoes. Mine are Nike somethings, but they're old as hell.
They still work just fine though, and have plenty of miles on them.

.. My body actually hurts if I don't run or do something.
It's like I get this ache that gets me going everyday. I suppose it's like an addiction as I get "withdrawal", so to say, if I don't run.

Newbalance 890s are what I use.
Yup, I'm always plotting how I can run faster, farther, smoother, more often.
Overuse of my adductors was holding me back for a while, but I found a variant of the traditional butterfly stretch that keeps 'em looser; do the stretch while lying supine instead of sitting.
I want to someday try to break the 2 hour marathon barrier because I'm a crazy SOB like that.

I run for an hour twice a day. Love it
The farthest I've ran at one time without stopping or slowing down is 4 miles/ 32 mins or so.
I want to be able to run for an hour straight. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Maybe try slowing down your pace a little.
The furthest I ran without stopping was a little over 6 miles and I did it in just under an hour. It's hard to keep a faster pace that long so try slowing up a little
