  1. The real problem here is the fact that school districts hire 23 year olds as teachers.

I don't give a fuck how hard you hit the books, or how well you understand textbook curriculum; to be a teacher, I believe you need some life experience under your belt.
You need an adequate amount of wisdom to deal with kids and set a good example.
For christ sake, 23 year olds teaching our next generation? Fuck..

  2. She's a dumb ass.

Really, you're a teacher, you have the right to do what you want when you're off of work but let's use some common sense. Pictures of her spread eagle upside down? A picture on google of her smoking a blunt? You're a goddamn teacher, and teacher's usually end up being role models to students. As much as some people will hate that I say it, students should be studying NOT smoking blunts and she surely doesn't help with that image. If I was a student in her class and stumbled on her twitter (which I most likely would, because she's hot) I wouldn't study a damn thing I'd be drawing blunts and vaginas on the back of my tests and turning it in.

  3. Dam son wheres tha pics at?

  4. That's hilarious! Hahaa

  5. This is why you should basically never use social media. It can get you into too much trouble.

Every time when I'm about to post something on facebook I think to myself, "Do I really want to share this with every single person I know (friends, family, coworkers, classmates from high school) and 99% of the time the answer is no. This is why I don't post personal shit online most of the time.

At least she's hot so now even though her teaching career is in the crapper she won't have to starve.

  6. Educational porn stars are in high demand right now

  7. I don't know I mean she is 23, and lives in Colorado therefore smoking and drinking are legal for her. The stuff on Twitter, stupid, yes, but it is legal. Now it's said she had bud on school grounds, now that is NOT okay. But she really did put herself in this situation with the Twitter account. I mean, I plan on becoming a High School teacher, and I will probably still smoke bud. But I will not go to work high, I will not bring it to work, I will not post tweets or whatever about. That's just a sure fire way to fuck yourself over as a teacher. Watch this video as well. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5_07OtTCpo[/ame]

  8. now that's a TILF right there!!!!

  9. Heeeeellllll yeeeeaaaaahhhh!

  10. Whats the problem here?

  11. Im in both sides of this. While my libertarian inner self tells me that you should be able to do these things and not get in trouble, it is still someone that is going to be with children. While we cannot say what she can or cannot do, she has to realize the social consequences as well.

  12. Theres 3 types of teachers, 1. can teach from experience with vasts amounts of knowledge on a subject(s) (these are usually professors)
    2. can teach out of textbooks, has a good bit of knowledge on the subject(s) and communication techniques (discipline)
    3. then those that are there becuse they want to be, but shouldn't be
(these are usually the teachers that complain about how much $ they make)

  13. Shit, I may have done better had there been teachers like this when I was in school.

  14. We have 23-year old uneducated airmen teaching college-grad officers in the military how to do their job.

Age should not be the only determining factor here. Besides, for someone who just spent $50,000 on a college degree to become eligible to teach, one would assume there's a certain level of maturity and common sense. Her employers certainly took on that assumption, as they do with every hire, young or old.

One of the most mature books I've ever read was written by George Washington (yes, that one). It's simply called "Rules of Civility and Decent Behavior".

The surprising part after you read it is realizing he wrote it when he was only 14 years old.

14-year old kids today think farting on command is resume-worthy.

And besides, with mandated curriculums and a general "dumbing down" of topics to ensure we don't offend any morons or their parents, I wouldn't exactly call it "teaching" anymore. I know several teachers and professors who would agree.

  15. Yeah you can't betray the trust of people when you've got the "responsibility Intrusted" to educated people's kids.

As a teacher though, I feel the "community" expects too much. Much times I feel more like a babysitter (9th grade).

  16. i don't care what job you have. even if you are circus clown or a professional dealer, it's just not a good fucking idea to post pics of yourself smoking up or getting wasted or whatever...
you might love this shit now, but since all this info winds up being public and searchable you might really regret this in 10 years... but too late then.

  17. Having recently graduated from a school with a large education program I now understand why our schools are not up to speed with the rest of the world. I would not want 99% of the education majors I met while in school teaching hypothetical children of mine anything.
