How can I be a better Activist?

yeah, Cannabis and it's current illegal state isn't the only thing that i think needs fixing in our respective countries but when i'm looking for ways that i can help, i draw a blank as to what would be effective and not so drastic that i'd land myself in jail or the hospital (or morgue.)

so, any suggestions on how to be a better activist? i write letters to my members of parliament (and if i get reponses to them they're usually form letters which to me says they didn't even bother to read or understand my position.) i've also attended 420 rallies (which seem to be losing strength as a lot of people i talk to about it think that it's just an excuse to get high.) hell, i've even tried to stir up support from my members of parliament and tried to draw attention to the extradition of Marc Emery to the states... yeah, form letters abound (one even just gave me a speech that he was doing criminal actions and refused to accept that the DEA considered him a politcal prisoner.

yeah, it's a challenge... i don't think that it's useless, but i've been kinda getting a little disheartened. it feels as if nobody really wants to pay attention to what is being said anymore for whatever cause.

so, what are some of your methods of peacefully protesting things that you feel are incorrect, shortsighted or somehow wrong? what are some of the methods you would use to show support for initiatives that you believe in?

It is a Xbox arcade game similar to guitar hero, just there is no guitar and instead of rock music there is techno music, and instead of the notes doing nothing, it sets off fireworks.

A must have for anyone who loves colours and tripping.

Ok iv run out of pot i want some i want to try different types and i want a break away so i thought why not go to amsterdam.

i do not know the best way to get there.

Eurostar ,flight, coach.

But i would like to go there and i am not sure of the rules or where to buy weed from and how much or if you could post yourself some pot back home.

Any advice on about arranging a trip to amsterdam would be great.

Hey guys.

I've been on GC for almost a year now, but have never gotten round to posting a pickup. Anyway, here we go. This is some bud I get for �6 per gram, no matter how much I buy. I've no idea of strain name, but it has a really strong sort of citrus/fruity smell to it. A great smoke also.

Thought whilst I was at it I'd post some stash box pics too. The metal box came from a torch by the way.

What does everyone else use for a stash box?

1st grow seedling questions

So I germinated nd planted 2 feminized seeds afghan kush and strawberry haze, They both sprouted on 11-16-09. I'm using a grow tent, I have a 400 watt hps light but I heard thats too strong for the seedling. So I am using one 300W CFL(I don't know actual watts) about 2 inches from the seedlings on 24/0 and have 2 clip fans blowing on it. I just plan on using the CFL until the plants are 2 weeks old and then use the hps on 18/6. I also have the seedlings in a pot a little smaller then a party cup. So as this is my first grow I am worried im doing some stuff wrong nd had a few questions. I am watering everyday as I heard the soil needs the be moist at all time for seedlings, When should I start letting the soil dry and water every 2-3 days? Also do I have enough light for the seedlings right now? I don't want to get more CFLs as I am planning on using the HPS for the whole grow. Also when should I transplant and any tips on that, I dont want to kill them while transplanting. I have the Sensi Grow A & B Bloom A & B and Big Bud Powder for all my nutes. When should I start using the nutes and how much should I use? I'm also worried about the heat issue with the HPS. I don't have any ducts or inline fans setup in my tent just 2 clip fans, will I be okay? I'm hoping someone can point me to the right direction before I screw anything up. Thanks alot GC

Traumatizing Trips

i was wondering, what are the most traumatizing trips you guys have experienced? here's my story.

WARNING GRAPHIC DETAILS

a few months ago, i was shrooming with a few friends. right after we ate them, my big brother ended up taking us to a party, but it got shut down by cops. on our way back to one of my friends' house, one way or another, we ended up stopping at another party, but only to pick someone up. it turned out he wasn't there. right as we were walking outside, there was a large 'boom' sound. we ran over to the side of the house and saw that a car had slammed into the brick wall that lined the property. i ran over to see that the car, a newer pontiac gto, was facing the wrong way, and only half of it was sticking out of the wall. several of us ran over to the car and saw the mangled mess it had become. the windshield had completely popped out after breaking. a frantic friend of mine (that was drunk) ran over and opened the passenger door, trying to help the people out. when he opened the door you could see the two people inside. the driver had almost completely been decapitated by the a pillar, and his head was hanging from it. the passenger looked as though a bomb had gone off inside of him. the inside of the car was covered in bloody pieces and the passenger was just... there, shaking and making noises. you could tell by the injuries that he wouldn't survive. his legs were completely cut off and blood was poring from the car. i stood there just taking it all in when my big brother, who had been screaming for me to get away from the car, ran over and pulled me away. immediately he threw us in the car and we left the house. in the car on the way back to his house, i began to peak and all i could think about was life and how delicate it is. i kept relating to these two strangers as though they were my family, and i really felt for theirs. i wouldn't say this experience gave me a bad trip, but it was definitely a life changing one.

the next day we found out that the two people in the car were racing over to the house we were at to beat someone up when the driver lost control, hit the center planter, spun 180 degrees, and slammed into the wall. ironically, the person they were coming to fight is the same drunk friend that was trying to save them.

aside from the people that were there, who are my best friends, i haven't discussed this with anyone else. i felt like sharing tonight/this morning.

Bong in santacruz

Sup guys, was wondering if anyone could help me out. I am going into santa cruz, and I am really looking for a small-ish aacrylic bong with an ice catcher for as absolutely cheap as possible. Hell it could even be glass, I am most concerned on it being small-sh and having an ice catcher. I know glass roots and pipeline are in Santa cruz. So here are my questions:

What other head shops are in santa cruz?
Where am I most likely to find what I am looking for and have it be cheapest?

Normally I would want to look a all the shops and spend some time at each comparing but, I have very little time to actually be in santa cruz buying the bong, so I dont really have time to look and I really just need to know where I should go to get what I want.

(But subsitute type for say:p) I also want to take a second and pay my respects to Overgrow.com (R.I.P) BUT in with the new out with old!

INTRO

This will be a slowly (not to slow but still not as fast as I want it to be but for good reason as soon will been seen.) I expect to have my room complete some time in Mid summer. The expected cost of this grow is going to vary on what and how the final desision is made on how to do it (makes no sence now but hopefully it will) but a est. is $1,500-$3,000 USD. With a retail value at about one trillion dollars:o.

The *dun dun dun* Room

The location of this is a very unique area. In 2006 the building was expanded. With this expandtion added a Master bed room (serveral other things that I don't care to mention.) The present day master bed room is located right where an old storm shelter was at. Instead of filling in the storm shelter and making the closet just another closet, they left the metal door as the floor for a small Utility room!
After opening the metal door you are exposed to a room that is 9ft(L)-6ft(W)-6"3ft(H). The room comes pre-equip. with sockets (all of the wiring is fine and will be able to withstand what I intend on running through it safely. Also the room has 6in ducts (two.) The first on goes straight through the floor into a private walk in closet but the other one the location of where it goes is undetermined at this point. It seems like it may run ... actually I don't know but this will def. be a top priority (it appears to just go under my hard wood in the bathroom?) The room its self is concrete (duh storm shelter but who knows so I put it in ;).)

Lighting

I have all ways been the HPS type of person. Recently I have purchased two 90w Triband. One is currently in use of flowering a closet grow (hydroponic) the other one is laying in its box. The way I look at it a full plant needs 1.2 units (based on a 90w UFO) to actually look like you put a light on it. So me having 7 plants Im going to need no less than 8 UFOs (all ready have two so thats 6 more that means 1500 ISH ick)

Unless i get a earth shaking response supporting that idea (i wont hold my hand on my butt cause we all know LED is not as good as sellers want us to think they are) I will go with two 400 or 600 HPS (please put your two bits in on this subject)

Well I must say that last part is much shorter than the first time I typed it. But the actual grow is a few weeks off cause I absolutly REFUSE to start growing any thing until I have 600$ of equip in there (or simply the correct equip)

I left out this important details such as 5g bubble buckets with 6in mesh cups. Rockwool to start off in... I understand i'm leaving out a 100 things but all of it will come in time. But until then please ask question and throw your idea's in.

so I'm goin over to hang out with my girlfriend. and so I get to her house.. and she is gone. her mom is like, oh she'll be back in a few. just make yourself at home. anyways.. like ten minutes goes by. and there is nothing on tv. so I'm makin my way to my gilfriends room and her moms door is wide open, and she is fuckin takin a rip from this MONSTER bong!!! fuckin the last person I would ever expect to smoke!
we both sit there for a while and look at each other awkardly.. and I slipped my lighter out of my pocket. and sort of waved it. she gave me a nod. and we sat down and did a bowl together!!!

I have a couple questions about research chemical distributors.
First off, I'm not quite sure I have a legit site, or how to confirm it. If someone could help me with that via a PM, I'd appreciate it. (If a request like this is against the rules, I'll be more than happy to edit it out.)
Second, would I (a US citizen) be able to order a research chemical from "Distributor X" (a Canadian distributor)?
Or should I just lose this link and look for something in the good ol' USA?
