I had a tumor yanked out of my spine a couple years back and needless to say I've got pretty damn bad chronic pain. 20 hours on a flight with a 4 hour layover for another 4 hour flight would be unbearable without some heavy pain relief. In theory, I could boil the cream with bud in it, but my guess is that would cause it to curdle kind of like milk but worse. So could I maybe sit it on the stove in a pot, and keep it JUSt inder simmer for maybe 2 hours... then refrigerate it again and let it sit in the fridge for maybe 5 days so the cream can do its job and absobt the THC (I dont think the cream HAS to be heated, but it just optimizes the THC absorption).

They're mutually exclusive. They work if you apply one or the other, but if you try to apply both at the same time the answers stop making sense.

Petr Horava at UC Berkeley has a new solution. A major part of the problem is the way the two theories treat space and time. GR treats space and time as a single dynamic whole which changes in response to matter. QM treats space in a fundamentally Newtonian fashion - a rigid, 3-dimensional Euclidean geometry which acts only as a backdrop for matter to exist on, and time as a separate thing entirely.

Horava's theory successfully unites the two by treating spacetime like a material: at high energies it undergoes a "phase change" where space and time separate and provide a playing field for QM, and at low energies they come together again and his theory yields general relativity.

It's shaking up the physics community! They're finding that it models planetary motion even better than relativity. It explains the holes in our understanding of the Universe which we invented dark energy and dark matter to fill.

And here's the interesting thing. You know how some people have proposed that the Big Bang wasn't the first thing that happened? That the Big Bang might have been a rebound from an earlier universe collapsing in on itself? His theory explains the Big Bang in terms of that, and physicists are finding evidence in the microwave background which match up with what his theory predicts.

This is some big shit, guys. If correct, this would be the biggest development in physics since quantum mechanics. It's got problems but they're in the process of being hammered out. Even if it's wrong, it's the best lead we have because it's making specific, testable predictions about the world around us, which is quite unlike what the theoretical physics community has been producing in the last couple decades.

I had made a deal last night and it was one of them thigns I called a buddy to see if he knew anybody. I met the guy in the parkin lot and gave him 50 bucks for the weed. I was suprised cuz it was in a smaller amount then my first deal witch was 20 bucks. I had said I would give money for them transporting it to me but after I seen it was smaller amount I held the gas money and said ight, and took off. I figured I was gettin scammed so I just held my cool cuz there was more of them then me and the kid I went with.

Can somebody mention what I did wrong, what I did right? What I should avoid or do next time this scenario comes to play? Was it bad that I kept the gas money when I thought I was bein screwed?

If someone has a phone I'll show you the amount I got for the price I paid.

I feel like running and jumping into a lake. Right now. At this very second. If the lakes weren't frozen over, and it wasn't -10 degrees outisde, I would be in a lake-Being a prune.

I'm 19, and I feel like i'm 37. No offense to anyone reading who may be 37. I've been through so much bullshit througout my life, that I feel like I need to slow down. Now I have a 27 year old for a boyfriend who is ready to settle down. I mean, this guy wants to marry me for crying out loud. I don't even believe in marriage.

I don't want to settle at all. I've been procrastinating college for almost 2 years now. I've been working in a bar, getting shit-loads of money....., and I really have nothing to show for it. I've always been this spontaneous person. But mostly I would jump up and leave town, with no money, and no plans for what would come. All of my friends are either away living, or in school. (I live in a small town with no job oportunities, or really ANYTHING to do with your spare time besides drink and getting fucked up). Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy getting wasted from time to time. But I feel like my life is on pause.

I do love this guy I am with. But for some reason, I feel as if he's the one holding me back in this town. Or maybe....., he's the one putting a head on my shoulders. He's very money oriented, materialistic....yayaya. Not something I EVER want to be a part of. Maybe I need someone like that in my life, so I don't run away, and rot. Or maybe I need to rot, in order to realize where I stand.
